Focus on Health: Essential Fatty Acids (EFA's)

Wagalicious is a complete and balanced meal for canines and felines at all life stages. When you rotate between formulas, using those that contain liver, you provide some EFA's in the liver. Nevertheless, we recommend supplementing even your companion's complete and balanced food with high quality, deep sea, cold-water fish oils at mealtime.

Every living cell uses EFA's. They support healthy brain function, heart, skin, coat, and joints. Because high quality fish oils are unstable and potentially harmful when exposed to oxygen, light or heat, and the effects of freezing are not tested, we recommend adding EFA's directly to your companion's food at meal time. Flax seed oil is a precursor to EFA's, and dogs and cats DO NOT have the ability to turn flax seed oil into the essential fatty acids that are so good for them. Don't waste your money on pet foods with added flax seed oil, or Omega-3 Oils that have been exposed to oxygen, light or heat!
